Choir delivers a message of hope

| December 5, 2016

063COSHOCTON – The Coshocton Community Choir Christmas concert is a must-attend for many in Coshocton County, and this year was no exception. The choir gave an outstanding performance to a packed house Sunday, Dec. 4. Each year, the choir delivers a message of hope, joy, and peace to audience members during the Christmas season, and they showed their appreciation at the end of the concert with a standing ovation. This year, the theme was “O Holy Night” and the narrative message spoke about finding peace in Christ during an uncertain and fearful time. In addition to the choir’s performance, there were also portrayals of Mary, Joseph, and the Christ child, angels, and shepherds who were featured throughout the concert. The concert also featured the Coshocton Singers, a group of young singers throughout the county, and the Coshocton Youth Chorale, a group of high school singers who attend school in and around the county.
