Rosella Davis
COSHOCTON – Rosella Davis, 98, formerly of Warsaw, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Jan. 2, 2017 at Coshocton Springs Health & Rehabilitation, where she was a resident.
She was born Oct. 10, 1918 in Blue Rock, OH to the late William and Cora (Dearstine) Leddy. She married Isaac Franklin “Frank” Davis on Feb. 8, 1940. After 72 years of marriage, he preceded her in death on April 14, 2012. While living in Ohio, she was active in the Walhonding Garden Club, Mt. Zion Methodist Church, and loved crocheting and playing games. In December of 1965, Rosella and Frank moved to Sedona, AZ, where she served as a caregiver, volunteered for the Girls Ranch Thrift Shop, and was a member of the Sedona Assembly of God Church. Most recently, she was a member of Gospel Hill Ministry in Warsaw.
Surviving are two sons, Ron (Jeannette) Davis of Warsaw, and Carl (Joyce) Davis of Nellie; three grandchildren, Doug Davis of Columbus, Lori (Ed) Robinette of Warsaw, and Rhonda (Craig) Ringwalt of Walhonding; nine great-grandchildren; Josh Young, Stephanie Spang, Matt Robinette, Jandi Young, Tiffany Todd, Taylor Spang, Rachel Cherup, Jordyn Ringwalt, and Samantha Ringwalt; and five great-great-grandchildren, Jada Simmons, Lachlan Van Dusen, Averie Spang, Elaina Young, and Jaxton Todd.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by twelve brothers & sisters; and one great-great-grandson, Deontay Spang.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, Jan. 6, 2017 at Gospel Hill Ministry, 27610 TR 45 Warsaw, with Pastor Ron Davis officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation is one hour prior to service time at the church. The Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw is handling arrangements. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
