Students recognize law enforcement appreciation day
COSHOCTON – Sacred Heart School recognized National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day on Jan. 9. Chip Udischas and Kevin Cichon from the Coshocton County Sheriff Office came in uniform to share with the students about their jobs and show them their equipment and what it is used for.
“As you can tell from their presentation they have many jobs and they have dangerous jobs,” said Principal Mary Stenner to the students. She then invited the sixth graders to come up front to the gym and present the deputies with a banner made by the students. “Please take this back to the sheriff’s office and let everyone know how much we appreciate what you all do,” Stenner said.
Udischas and Cichon, who both have children who attend Sacred Heart School, joined the students at the end of their presentation for a group picture.
