Rev. Robert W. Millspaugh

Reverend Robert W. Millspaugh, age 86, of Coshocton, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2017. He was born on April 11, 1930 to the late Edwin and Katharine (Wahl) Millspaugh in East Orange, New Jersey.

Bob graduated from Hamilton College in New York and Princeton Seminary in 1955. On April 23, 1960, he married Grace (Wilson) Millspaugh who survives.

In 1972, Bob became the Pastor of the Presbyterian Church in Coshocton, Ohio. He served at five churches in Ohio and Michigan as Interim Pastor, was the moderator for a year for the Muskingum Valley Presbytery, and for 60 years, Ministry was his passion.

Bob was an avid sports fan and enjoyed playing tennis. He was the recipient of the Coshoctonian Award in 2011. Bob volunteered at Community Hospice for several years, was a board member for United Way and the Salvation Army. He was also instrumental in getting the Chaplaincy program started at Coshocton Regional Medical Center and was their first Chaplin.

Along with his wife Grace, Bob is survived by his son, Mark (Debra) Millspaugh of Newark and two grandsons, Cameron and Trent Millspaugh.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 10, 2017 from 5:00-8:00pm at the Presbyterian Church, 142 N. 4th Street, Coshocton, Ohio and one hour prior to the memorial service. A memorial services will be held on Saturday at the church at 11:00 am with Pastor Jonathon Carlisle officiating. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Abiding Memorial Fund at the Presbyterian Church.
