Swimmers moving on to district meet
STEUBENVILLE – Several swimmers from Coshocton and River View high schools are moving on after strong finishes at the sectional swimming meet held Feb. 11 at Steubenville High School.
Girls who qualified for the district meet at The Ohio State University include: 500 freestyle – Emily Casey (CHS); 100 backstroke – Shawna Shroyer (RVHS); 100 breaststroke – Lindsey Ashcraft (RVHS); 100 butterfly – Emily Casey (CHS); 200 individual medley – Lindsey Ashcraft (RVHS); 200 freestyle relay – RVHS; 400 freestyle relay RVHS and CHS; and 200 medley relay – RVHS. Boys who qualified are: 50 freestyle – Nate Cooper (RVHS) and Jake Mitchell (RVHS); 200 freestyle – Dylan Harsh (RVHS); 500 freestyle – Dylan Harsh (RVHS); 100 backstroke – Nate Cooper (RVHS); 100 breaststroke – Caleb Fischer (RVHS); 100 butterfly – Caleb Fischer (RVHS) and Jake Mitchell (RVHS); 200 freestyle relay – RVHS; 400 freestyle relay – RVHS; 200 medley relay – RVHS.
