Statewide burning ban announced

COSHOCTON – Starting Wednesday, March 1, the statewide burning ban will be in effect.

This prohibits the burning of wood, brush, weeds, grass, or rubbish of any kind between the hours of 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. during the months of March, April, and May in the spring and October and November in the fall.

As a reminder to Coshocton City residents, there is no open burning permitted within the city at any time.
