28th annual NWTF banquet deadline approaching

COSHOCTON – The deadline to purchase tickets or to help sponsor the 28th annual Muskingum Valley Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation Hunting Heritage Banquet is fast approaching. The event will be held Saturday evening, March 4 at the Lake Park Pavilion in Coshocton with doors opening at 4:30 p.m. and dinner at 6 p.m.

The banquet is hailed across the region as the premier NWTF event with the funds raised benefitting the local chapter of the NWTF, in particular, holding a JAKES day program where youngsters are given the opportunity to learn safe handling of firearms and archery equipment with seminars about turkey hunting.

Ticket sales are limited to the first 340, all tickets must be prepaid and all seats other than VIP tables will be first come when the doors open at 4:30 p.m. There are several options available for individuals or groups to purchase tickets.
