Parks PictureCOSHOCTON – Judy Parks, 68, of Coshocton passed away Monday, February 27, 2017 at the Coshocton Regional Medical Center.  She was born in Coshocton on November 12, 1948 to the late Marquis and Cleone (Corder) Selders.

She graduated from River View High School, worked at the Coshocton County Memorial Hospital for four years, and the Department of Human Services before retiring.  Judy was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, was very active in the River View Music program and Music Boosters, she loved baking, plants and caring for her flowers every year, and vacationing in Gatlinburg.

Judy is survived by her husband, Melvin Parks, whom she married October 12, 1968; daughter Shanda (Curtis) Huston of Warsaw; grandchildren Alexandra and Lucas Huston of Warsaw; sisters Ellen Crowthers of St. Louisville, Alice (Roger) Perkins of Saline, MI, and Ruth (Lloyd) Leiendecker of West Lafayette; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, Judy is preceded in death by her brother Dale Selders; and sisters Jane Darr and Pauline Randles.

Friends may call at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Friday, March 3, 2017 from 5:00PM – 8:00PM and one hour prior to the funeral service. Funeral services for Judy will be Saturday at 11:00 with Pastor Brian Kittner officiating.  Burial will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens.  An online memorial is located at www.themillerfuneralhome.com
