The Good Olde Days in Newcomerstown
NEWCOMERSTOWN – Don’t you love reminiscing about Newcomerstown as it was “back in the day?” You know, back when life was simple and people were nice and only good things happened to good people? But then there was that tornado.
Come to the Olde Main Street Museum and Social Center Friday, March 17 or Saturday, March 18, for an evening of dinner theater featuring a story right out of Newcomerstown’s history. Doors open at 6 p.m. Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. The show will follow.
“Trojan Twister” will tell the story of the tornado and its effect on the Newcomerstown school system and the people in the town. Did you go to school at the mayor’s office, or at the Masonic lodge?
Remember those days along with us as we are joined by Superintendent D.B. Roeder, played by Chris Hart, and Fire Chief Otto Haxton, played by Ray McFadden.
The evening will include a dinner of roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, lima beans, a homemade dessert, a roll, and a drink.
To reserve your seat, stop in or call 740-498-7735 during these times when the box office will be open: Thursdays from 5 – 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. – Noon. Have your credit card ready when you call us. The price of a ticket for dinner and a show is $20.
March 11 will be the last day to get tickets.
