Bruce W. Barrick
WEST LAFAYETTE – Bruce W. Barrick, 62, of Hickory Flats Dr., died Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at his residence, surrounded by his children, Rachel & Ralph, and grandson Anthony.
He was born Nov. 11, 1954 in Parkersburg, WV to the late Jack and Evelyn L. (Wagoner) Barrick. He was a 1972 graduate of River View High School, and an employee of the former Pretty Products in Coshocton. He volunteered at Journey’s End Ministries, and attended Victory Assembly of God.
Bruce enjoyed helping those in need any way he could. He never forgot a person’s birthday once he knew it. He had an extensive music collection, and loved to sing and play guitar. His grandchildren were very special to him, and he was a very proud grandpa.
He is survived by four children, Ralph (Amy) Barrick McGrady of Kentucky, Rachel (Lee) Squires of Warsaw, Christina (Matt) Jones-Hughes of West Lafayette, and Richie Jones of West Lafayette; seven grandchildren, Kaylee, Kye, Mia, Charity, Anthony, Cassie, and Zack; step-mother, Jackie (Bob) Barrick Gaither of Florida; three brothers, Dave (Cindy) Barrick of Newark, Jack Barrick of Florida, and Scott (Heather) Powell of Coshocton; three sisters, Pam Protko and Charla Manning, both of Florida, and Billie (Steve) Ashcraft of Maryland; special friends, Steve Lamneck & Pam Tarrh; mother of his children, Jacqueline McGrady of Warsaw; a special nephew, Bradley Barrick; and many more nieces & nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane (Tidrick) Barrick; and an aunt & uncle, Alberta & Vic Rogers.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 17, 2017 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw, with Pastor Brent Heishman officiating. Burial will follow in Coshocton Co. Memory Gardens. Visitation is one hour prior to the service time at the funeral home. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
