Lake Park Clean-Up Day set for April 8

COSHOCTON – The Friends of the Parks will hold the annual Lake Park Clean-Up Day on Saturday, April 8, from 9 a.m. to noon.

The community is invited to help spruce up the grounds and flower beds at Lake Park. Volunteers will meet at 9 a.m. at the park district office and will be assigned to work groups.

Tasks to be completed that day include litter and limb pick-up, cleaning out flower beds, mulching beds, spreading mulch in playgrounds, and others as time permits. Volunteers are asked to bring work gloves, pruners, garden rakes, wheel barrows, and other gardening tools. A picnic lunch will be served at noon for all of the volunteers, compliments of the Friends of the Parks.
