Alice Cramblett PicureCANAL LEWISVILLE – Alice L. Cramblett, 87 of Canal Lewisville, passed away at her home on Wednesday April 5, 2017.

Alice was born in Birds Run on August 20, 1929 to the late John E. and Thelma B. (Ruby) Bradford.  She graduated from Keene High School in 1948 and had worked for Ohio Bell as a telephone operator, Edmont, Keene Elementary School Cafeteria, Spitler’s Restaurant and loved babysitting and spending time with her grandchildren.  She also enjoyed crocheting, bingo and yard sales.

Alice is survived by her children Cynthia (Bill) Kirker and Rodney Cramblett both of Fresno, Susan Bryant and Michael A. Cramblett both of Coshocton; four grandchildren David (Becky) Dixon, Jennifer (Raymond) Young, Rodney (Tia) Cramblett Jr. and Joseph Cramblett; great grandchildren Micah, Gabrielle, Lane, Thad, Courtney and McKenzie; one brother Richard Hadsell of CA; three half brothers Dick, Jimmy, Jerry Bradford.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband James G. Cramblett whom she married August 26, 1950, James passed away on September 12, 1992; a grandson Michael Cramblett; two brothers Robert Hadsell and Edward Bradford; step sister Annie Wright and half brother Gene Bradford.

A memorial gathering to celebrate the life of Alice will be held on Monday April 10, 2017 at 5:00 PM in the Hoy Fellowship Hall in Canal Lewisville United Methodist Church, 198 E. Church St., Coshocton with a meal to follow.
