Kay Pasmore PictureCOSHOCTON – Kay L. Pasmore, 73, of Coshocton passed away at Genesis Hospital on Monday April 24, 2017. Kay was born in Woodsfield, Ohio to the late Clyde and Alice (Cline) Burke on May 22, 1943.

She graduated from Barberton High School and retired from The Longaberger Company as a weaver and repair specialist. She loved spending time with her family and friends and was a member of the Coshocton Baptist Church.

Kay is survived by her two children Roger A. (Ginny) Machamer and Janet JoAnn (Brian) Wood both of Coshocton; seven grandchildren Betsi (Brad) Shrimplin, Jenny (Jimmy) Miller, Lisa Machamer, Aaron (Tessie) Moon, Brittany (Justin) Wood, Cayla Wood and Dallas Wood; two brothers Vernon (Billie) Burke of Woodsfield and Robert Burke of Massillon; two sisters Mary Lee Munday of Wooster and Janet Swaney of Coshocton; numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Machamer; two brothers Verle Burke and Dan Burke; one sister Clara Jones; and her special canine companion Chevette.

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Monday May 1, 2017 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Funeral services for Kay will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 10:00 AM with Rev. Jonathan Carlisle officiating. Interment will follow in North Lawn Memorial Gardens located in Peninsula, Ohio at 1:00 PM.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Coshocton County Animal Shelter, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
