Dorothy Olinger_0002COSHOCTON – Dorothy Jean Olinger, 88, of Coshocton, Ohio passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at her residence.

Dorothy was born on January 10, 1929 in Coshocton, Ohio to the late Clarence and Josephine (Fitzpatrick) Sicker. She graduated from Coshocton High School, Class of 1946 and later graduated Bliss Business College in Columbus. She has been a lifelong member of the Presbyterian Church in Coshocton. She was also involved in the Junior Women’s Club and Trirosis Club. Dorothy enjoyed playing golf and traveling.  

On September 4, 1949 she married Alfred J. Olinger who passed away on January 19, 2015.  She is survived by her daughters, Elaine Duren of Lewis Center, Ohio and Linda Jones and her husband Jim of Hudson, Ohio. She is also survived by her grandson Adam Jones of Orlando, Florida.

The family will receive family and friends at the Presbyterian Church from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm on Tuesday, June 13, 2017. A funeral service will take place at 2:00 pm in the Chapel at the Presbyterian Church with Reverend Jonathan Carlisle officiating. A graveside service will follow at South Lawn Cemetery.
