Charles A. Hughes II
WEST LAFAYETTE – Charles “Chuck” A. Hughes II, 59, of West Lafayette passed away Friday, June 16, 2017 at the Coshocton Regional Medical Center. He was born in Coshocton on February 12, 1958 to the late Charles “Charlie” and Mae (Hall) Hughes Sr.
Chuck was self-employed and did various jobs over the years. He was a member of the Coshocton Army-Navy Garrison 628 and the Coshocton Eagles 761. He loved attending auctions, shooting pool and making new friends, he never knew a stranger.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Mary (Hardesty) Hughes; children Kendra (Vince) Brown of Florida, Charles “Chuckie” Hughes III of Connecticut, Krystal Hughes, currently serving in the United States Air Force and stationed in Illinois, and Paul Gardinsky of Coshocton; seven grandchildren and one on the way; one great grandchild; sisters Connie Wolfe, Charlotte (Jim) Day, and Kathy (John) Powell all of Coshocton; brother James Wright of Carrollton, OH; sister-in-law Cindy (Buck) Harrah of Coshocton; several nieces and nephews and many friends.
Along with his parents, Chuck is preceded in death by his brother Gary Wright; sister Joyce Scott; and first wife Rebecca “Becky” (Kemp) Hughes.
Friends may call at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Thursday, June 22, 2017 from 6:00PM – 8:00PM and one hour prior to the funeral service.
