Marian R. Warner
WEST CHESTER – Marian Ruth Warner, 91, of West Chester died Sunday, July 2, 2017 at her residence.
She was born Feb. 11, 1926 in New Castle Twp., Coshocton County to the late John Sanford and Zella Pearl (Hays) Shuy.
She was a homemaker, member of the Nellie Chapel United Methodist Church and attended the Faith Community United Methodist Church. As part of the World War II effort she helped manufacture airplane fuel tanks in Coshocton. She also worked at the Shellmar Factory and Ringwalt’s Dept. Store both in Mount Vernon.
She is survived by her daughters, Rhonda Warner of West Chester and Elaine Warner (Terry Young) of Cincinnati. Three step grandsons and four step great grandchildren. A sister, Margaret (Dean) Veatch of Osgood, IN. Sister-in-law, Ava Engelhardt of Millersburg and a brother-in-law, Willis Warner of Loudonville. Several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death her husband, Arthur L. Warner, whom she married Dec. 1, 1943, he died Feb. 10, 1995.
A private burial will take place in the Valley View Cemetery at Warsaw. The Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw is handling the arrangements. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
