Pansy I. VanValien

COSHOCTON – Pansy I. VanValien, 83, of Coshocton passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Genesis Hospital, Zanesville, Ohio following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, July 21, 2017 at the Free Funeral Home. Pastors Phil and Karen Gibson will be officiating. Burial will be at Franklin Cemetery, friends may call one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.

Pansy was born August 5, 1933 in Coshocton, Ohio and was the daughter of John R. and Elsie (Moore) Banks. She worked as a waitress for many years at numerous places.

Surviving are one sister, Charlotte Banks of Fresno, Ohio and one brother, Charles R. Banks of Coshocton, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, John J. Banks and James H. Banks; one sister Rosemary A. Scheetz.

Free Funeral Home is assisting the family.
