CBHC celebrates 45th anniversary

DSC_0015COSHOCTON – Coshocton Behavioral Health Choices celebrated its 45th anniversary with a community open house and ribbon cutting for its 14 new recovery apartments designed as another way to help people on their road to sobriety. “Addiction treatment works, but people need a stable, sober place to stay,” said Beth Cormack, CBHC’s executive director. She then thanked her staff and board for working together to make this vision happen. Before Cormack cut the ribbon, Bee Lehner from the CBHC board also spoke. “Thank you for seeing this process through and thank you to your staff for supporting the idea.” Cormack, Coshocton City Mayor Steve Mercer and Lehner then cut the ribbon and attendees of the July 21 event were invited to tour the apartments and enjoy a light lunch.
