For the Love of Lamb Dinner planned

COSHOCTON – The Coshocton and Tuscarawas Lamb and Fleece Improvement Committee is hosting the Second Annual For the Love of Lamb Dinner on Saturday, Sept. 9 at 6 p.m.

The chef prepared local farm to plate dinner will be held at the Heritage Vineyard Winery near Warsaw. Tickets are $25.

The meal will be prepared by Chef Mike Cichon and will highlight the versatility of delicious lamb. Chef Cichon will share his inspiration for the meal as well as tips for cooking with lamb. Wine tastings will be available and Heritage Vineyard wine can be purchased separately for dinner. Music will follow the meal on the patio.

Raffle tickets for baskets filled with lamb and wool items are also available. Cost is $5 each and may be purchased prior to the event, even if you do not attend the meal. Tickets may also be purchased at the dinner. Photos of the baskets will be available to view on the OSU Extension Coshocton County Facebook page.
