Church hosting community party

CONESVILLE – The eighth annual community weiner roast/ice cream party at the Conesville United Methodist Church will be held Friday, Aug. 18 starting at 6 p.m. on the church grounds. Everyone is invited to come and bring your own hot dogs and buns and a lawn chair.

If you would like to enter the homemade ice cream contest, you should bring a pail or two of your favorite ice cream. Attendees will vote for the best ice cream and a top crank award will be given.

There will be fire rings for roasting hot dogs and marshmallows. Condiments, marshmallows, drinks, chips and table service will be provided.

The church is located at 196 State St. in Conesville.
