Samuel C. Croy Jr.

SPRINGHILL, FL. – Samuel C. Croy, Jr., a resident of Springhill, FL and formerly of Coshocton County, died Aug. 11, 2017 at a VA Hospital in Tampa, FL.

He was born Feb. 27, 1947 to Samuel Croy Sr. and Jeannette (Taylor) Croy Diven who preceded him in death.

Samuel is survived by his wife of 40 years Margaret (Bland) Croy, formerly of Columbus. He is also survived by siblings Carole (Snyder) and Gary Bantum and David E. and Robin Snyder, both of Warsaw and many nephews and nieces.

He was employed by Buckeye Fabric. He served two tours of duty aboard the U.S.S. Independence during the Vietnam era in the Mediterranean. He was a graduate of Warsaw High School in 1965.

Funeral services were held in Florida with cremation.
