Dwaine M. Conkle

COSHOCTON – Dwaine M. Conkle, 82, passed away at his home on Monday Aug. 28, 2017, Dwaine was born on Aug. 19, 1935 in Becks Mills, Holmes County to the late Albert & Alberta (Merrell) Conkle.

Dwaine loved and cherished spending time with his family, he was known for working hard, everyday.  He enjoyed dirt track racing, hunting, fishing, cutting firewood and spending time outdoors.  Dwaine was a self employed auto body technician and he also owned and operated Conkle’s Towing Service.

He is survived by his wife Janice E. (March) Conkle whom he married June 30, 1957; five children Debbie (George) Dickson, Rick (Nancy) Conkle, Tammy (Steve) Holdsworth and Mick Conkle all of Coshocton, Kimberly (Scott) Thorley of Plain City; fifteen grandchildren Jason Couch, Christopher (Erin) Couch, Danielle (Phil) Boutet, Brendan Dickson, Kristin (Brett Steinhauser) Conkle, Adam (Lindsay) Conkle, J.R. (Jenny) Dovenbarger and Malissa (Donnie) Quincel, Amber Garvey, Ryan (Thy) Holdsworth, Tyler (Lindsey) Conkle, Megan (Darin) Hains, Noah, Avery and Mya Thorley;; twenty two great grandchildren; brother Denny (Evelyn) Conkle of Coshocton; sister Jean (Jake) Honabarger of Millersburg several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at Dwaine’s home located at 56 S. Whitewoman St., Coshocton on Wednesday August 30, 2017 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM and one hour prior to the service at the church.  A funeral service will be held at Gospel Hill Church, 27610 TR 45, Warsaw on Thursday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Ron Davis officiating.  Interment will follow in Roscoe Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Interim Hospice of Coshocton and/or American Kidney Fund; envelopes will be available at their home.
