Prize winning squash turned into Halloween art
WEST LAFAYETTE – Jake Stiteler and his 4-year-old son Jake created some of their own fall fun by turning their 628 pound squash into a jack-o-lantern. Prior to being made into a work of art, the giant squash was on display at the Coshocton County Fair. The younger Stiteler won first place with the squash and his father won second with another one they entered. They plan to enter the fair again next year and are going to use seeds from this squash to hopefully grow an even bigger one.
