| October 30, 2017

COSHOCTON – A family art class will take place Nov. 12, from 4 – 6 p.m. at the Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum. This class is designed for you and your child, niece, nephew, grandchildren or friend to have a night out together while experiencing a different kind of fun, the creative kind. Each person will create their own mixed media collage on a 16” x 20” stretched canvas. The theme will be an ocean scene and we will be learning how to draw a crab, fish, seahorse and mermaids or mermen. We’ll draw, paint and create textures using tissue paper, sequins, shells, etc. In less than two hours you and your child will take home your own masterpiece.

The class is for children ages six and older. Cost is $16 for one adult and one child; $20 for one adult and two children. Friends family memberships receive $3 off. Reservations are required and payment must be received by Nov. 5. Payment may be made by phone or in person.

The Ohio Arts Council helped fund this program with state tax dollars to encourage economic growth, educational excellence and cultural enrichment for all Ohioans. The Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum is located in Historic Roscoe Village, a restored canal-era town, at 300 N. Whitewoman Street.
