Mary Ruth Eaches
Mary Ruth Eaches, 74, of Newcomerstown and formerly of Coshocton passed away at 2:55 A.M., Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Riverside Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation in Newcomerstown.
Born March 21, 1938 in Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Lucian and Oda (Williamson) Smith.
On November 9, 1954 she married Raymond Edward Eaches and the couple had celebrated 58 anniversaries.
Mary had been the choir director at the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church for several years and will be remembered for her crocheting and her love of jigsaw and word search puzzles.
In addition to her husband Ray, she will be missed by her daughter Diana K. (Michael) Sexton of West Lafayette; two granddaughters Meghan (Tony) Wise of Fresno, Christina (Robert) Alaimo of Coshocton; great-grandson Darian Ray Alaimo; sister Ona Jones of Pennsylvania; two step-sisters Linda and Rachel and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son Dale Kenneth Eaches and two brothers Bill and Leo Smith.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, January 14, 2013, at the Free Funeral Home, Coshocton with Pastor Sonny Easterday officiating. Interment will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens.
Calling hours will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M., Sunday, January 13, 2013 at the Free Funeral Home.
