Donna Sue Walters
HOWARD – Donna Sue Walters, 53, died Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Knox Community Hospital in Mt. Vernon.
She was born March 5, 1964 in Mt. Vernon to the late Harley J. and Mary (Currence) Langdon. She was a former STNA for the Ohio Eastern Star Home and the Laurels. She was a volunteer companion with Hospice of Knox Co., and she also volunteered with the Knox Co. Humane Society. She was a member of the Brandon Baptist Church, and she loved the Lord Jesus Christ. She loved her grandkids and attending all of their activities, and her pets, “Gabriel” & “Cash”. She enjoyed spending time outside, and listening, singing, and dancing to music.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Wade Walters of Howard, whom she married Aug. 2, 1985; two sons, William (Tammy) Walters of Mt. Vernon, and Derrick Langdon Walters of Coshocton; three grandchildren, Alexis, Seth, and Makenna Walters; four brothers; Harley (Sue) Langdon, William (Joyce) Langdon, Jack (Marci) Langdon, and John (Susan) Langdon; four sisters, Patti Jones, Sharon Langdon, Naomi Langdon, and Tina (Vince) Moran; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Dickie Langdon, and a niece, Casey Moran.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2017 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. A graveside service will follow at 12:30 p.m. at New Castle Cemetery, with Pastors Marvin Haught & Jay Horn officiating. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
