River View competes in Dover Invite

DOVER – The River View swim teams competed in the Dover Invitational on Saturday, Dec. 2 with the girls placing eighth overall, and the boys fifth.

The girls team got points from Lindsey Ashcraft, ninth in the 200 Individual Medley (2:38.65) and third in the 100 Breast (1:18.96), Jesse Vandenbark, 11th in the 50 Free (28.34), the 200 medley relay of Carolyn Cox, Ashcraft, Josie Fornara, and Vandenbark, eighth (2:12.04), the 200 Free relay of Vandenbark, Emily Jacobs, Cox, and Ashcraft, eighth (1:58.89), and the 400 Free relay of Kasey Millar, Kyara Roberts, Fornara, and Rachel Vandenbark, 11th (5:04.48).

Scoring  for the boys were Dylan Harsh, 12th in the 200 Free (2:20.47), and 10th in the 500 Free (6:49.63), Jacob Mitchell, fifth in both the 50 Free (24.51) and the 100 Free (55.44), Caleb Fischer, third in the 100 Fly (1:02.32) and second in the 100 Breast (1:07.93), Brody Fischer, 11th in the 200 IM (2:58.60) and 12th in the 100 Breast (1:27.85), Brayden Karr, 10th in the 100 Breast (1:22.23), the medley relay groups of Mitchell, C. Fischer, Andrew Martin, and Trase Berry, fourth (1:57.17), and Lane Wahl, Trey Davis, B. Fischer, and JT Roberts, 12th (2:19.84), the 200 Free relays of Reas Pepper, Berry, Harsh, and Martin, fifth (1:49.47), and Wahl, Roberts, Kaden Poorman, and B. Fischer, seventh (1:51.93), and the 400 Free relays of Mitchell, Poorman, Pepper, and C. Fischer, sixth (3:56.20), Eric Jacobs, Sawyer Neal, Davis, and Harsh, 11th (4:43.08), and Brady Philabaum, Lincoln Shroyer, Karr, and Brice Cross, 12th (4:52.35).
