COSHOCTON – Coshocton Christian School students had a little fun before sending their boys basketball team off to the state final four basketball tournament. Students, members of the team, staff and coaches participated in several fun games that were held as part of a pep rally before school let out on Thursday afternoon, March 1. Coach Kyle Dunfee even got in on the fun and is pictured doing his best cheerleader pose during one of the games. The Christian School Wildcats made their first appearance in school history in the state final four tournament Friday and Saturday, March 2-3, at Ohio Christian University. They finished fourth in the tournament. “To be where we were and have the opportunity to represent Coshocton County and the whole northeast region basketball area in the final four was something special and made a lot of athletes’ dreams come true,” Dunfee said. “Our two seniors got to play their last two games of high school basketball in the state final four tournament and that is pretty special. It was a great weekend even though the end result wasn’t what we wanted. We represented ourselves well and played hard.”
