Hart to perform as Isaac the Shepherd at Emmanuel Lutheran Church

| March 5, 2018

COSHOCTON – Chris Hart, familiar to Coshoctonians as Sherlock Holmes, Cy Young, Peter Daley-a Titanic survivor, and many other historical characters who he has performed at various local venues, will appear as Isaac the shepherd at Emmanuel Lutheran Church on Sunday, March 11.  His portrayal of a bystander and witness to the life of Jesus Christ is part of Emmanuel’s observation of the season of Lent. Emmanuel will have a potluck dinner after the 11 a.m. service. At this service, they will have special music by brass musicians, Don and Joan Kason. Hart’s performance begins at 1 p.m.

The congregation invites the community to both the potluck dinner and the performance, and they would love to have you for worship also. Meat will be provided at the dinner. A salad, dessert, or other dish would be most welcome, but is not necessary. Please call the church at 740-622-2550 if you plan to attend, or if you need more information. Office hours are Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. – Noon. At other times, you can leave a message on the answering machine.

Emmanuel Lutheran Church is located at 1500 Pleasant Valley Drive in Coshocton.
