MOUNT VERNON – Kevin Dale Siegel, 53 of Mount Vernon, passed away of a heart attack on Friday, March 2, 2018.

Kevin was born at the Grissom Air Force Base in Miami County, Indiana on August 11, 1964 to John L. and Patricia R. Siegel. After Patty’s passing, His father married Marilyn J. (Hawkins) who mothered him as her own, from the time he was four years old.

Kevin was a 1982 graduate of River View High School. He was a welder and most recently had worked at Arial Corp. and Rolls-Royce of Mount Vernon.

Along with his parents, Kevin is survived by his three children; Kevin M. Rochester, Justin L. Siegel and Kayla M. (Devin) Luce all of Coshocton. He also had six grandchildren; Austin, Owen, Zayden, Addison, Hudson and Alyxia.

He is also survived by his twin sister Debra L. (Donis D.) Darr of Warsaw, his younger brother Matthew E. (Danielle) Siegel of Blacklick, a nephew, TJ Darr and a niece, Courtnie Darr both of Warsaw.

Kevin had numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins from both Ohio and Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his birth mother, Patricia R. (Ribble) Siegel, a brother-in-law, Mark W. Zintsmaster, grandparents; Clarence (Red) & Rosalie Siegel, Howard & Marie Ribble, and Robert & Constance Hawkins. An aunt, Bettsy Sweet and three uncles; William (Bill) Gamertsfelder, Gary Ribble & Charles (Charlie) Hawkins.

Kevin enjoyed many things but mushroom hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends were his favorites.

A “Celebration of Life” service will be held March 17, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at the Clark Twp. Baptist Church 30618 County Road 343 Warsaw, Ohio 43844 with Pastor Sonny Easterday officiating. Calling hours will begin at 11:00 a.m. and run until the time of service.
