COSHOCTON – Toby Tyler Mahan, 51, of Coshocton died Sunday, March 18, 2018, at the Coshocton Regional Medical Center.

He was born October 21, 1966 in Coshocton to Patrick Jr. and Mary (Simmons) Mahan. He was an avid Nascar fan, and loved the Green Bay Packers and monster trucks, with Gravedigger being his favorite.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Ellis, his life partner of the last 16 1/2 years, Michelle Pastor, and his daughter, Trista (Jered) Shumaker, all of Coshocton, his daughter Angel (Michael Reynolds) of Uhrichsville, his son Christopher (April Poisson) Mahan, and his daughter Kara (Michael) Riley all of Massillon, two grandchildren, Tucker Shumaker and Addalynn Reynolds, a niece,  Amber (John) Albert, a nephew, Tanner (Katey Conkey) Eaton, 2 great nephews and 1 great niece, as well as several uncles, and an aunt, lifelong friend Kevin Crum, and Michelle’s 3 children and grandchildren. He was like a father and grandfather to Shyanne Adkins and Brandon (Jaylynn) Adkins, their children; Kaylee, Evelynn and Annabell Adkins, and Marcy (Matt) Amore, and their child Ava Marie Amore.

He was preceded in death by his father, Patrick Mahan Jr, his sister, Terri Sue Mahan-Eaton, several aunts & uncles, and his paternal and maternal grandparents.
