Robert “Bob” A. Foster

COSHOCTON – Robert “Bob” A. Foster, 84, of Coshocton passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018 at the Truman Hospice House in New Philadelphia, Ohio.  He was born in Coshocton on December 12, 1933 to the late Virgil Foster and Margaret (Darr) White.

Bob served in the United States Air Force for 8 years and then worked for Stone Container and Jones Oil before retiring.

He enjoyed remote air planes, riding motorcycles and spending time with his family and friends.

Bob is survived by his wife, Peggy (Whittington) Foster, whom he married in 1955; children Trevon Hannah, Beverly Foster, Christina Foster, LaTasha Fralin all of Coshocton, an Jamie Foster of Dayton; Grandchildren Dawn (Jason) Weller of Newcomerstown and Christopher (Annette) Foster of LA; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; daughter-in-law Judy Foster; sister-in-law Francis Lewis of N.C.; close friends April Richie of Columbus and Jay and Wendy Asire of Coshocton; and many former foster children.

Along with his parents, Bob is preceded in death by his sons Robert C. and Alan Foster; daughter LaTonia Marie Foster.

Friends may call at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main Street, Coshocton, Ohio on Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm with one hour prior to the funeral service. Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00am with Pastor Ed Sharp officiating. Burial will follow at South Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be directed towards the Truman Hospice House, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
