Judith Elaine Darr

COSHOCTON – Judith Elaine Darr, age 73 of Coshocton, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 in her home. She was born September 13, 1944 in Coshocton to the late Melvin and Roberta (Stanley) Timmerman. On July 23, 1982, she married Donis Darr, who survives.

Judith worked at Echoing Hills, Pretty Products and Bates Metals. She was a church member for 36 years at the Anchor Church pastored by Aaron Bounds, previously known as Christian Apostolic Church, pastored by Wilber F. White. She loved life in general and spent her time with her family and church family. She enjoyed fishing and going on the boat, playing cards, rides with her husband where they would stop and have a picnic.

She is survived by her children, Alvin (Debbie) Moore, Terry (significant other, Doug Dansby) Tanner, Marsha (Dave) Price, Robbie (significant other, Chris) Lesher, Dawn (Mike) Richardson; 16 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren; brothers, Fred (Carol) Matthews and Dennis (Donna) Matthews and her extended children, Jon Moore, Chris Gardner and Becky Newell.

She is preceded in death by three brothers, Eddie (Bubba), Charles and Ralph Matthews as well as two great-grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home. Funeral services will occur at 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Franklin Cemetery. A dinner will follow the services at the church.
