CES students wrap up Pennies for Patients campaign

| April 27, 2018

COSHOCTON – The Coshocton Elementary School Student Council collected $2,650 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Pennies for Patients fundraiser. “That was a lot of coins,” said sixth grade teacher Wendy Kimberley. The students presented that money on April 27 to Robbie Conrad, who is the campaign manager for the society’s student series. Kimberley said the student council members ran the campaign for two weeks by collecting money in their homerooms and counting it at recess. “It was quite the math lesson for them to keep track of it all,” Kimberley said. Her homeroom raised the most money with more than $300 collected.
