Jeannette E. Kirkpatrick

COSHOCTON – Jeannette E. Kirkpatrick, 90, of Coshocton passed away at Signature Health Care of Coshocton on Sunday May 6, 2018.

She was born in Lodi, Ohio on July 4, 1927, the daughter of the late Ernest and Blanche (Lehr) Ehrbar.

In her earlier years, she worked at General Electric and cleaned at a local dentist office.  Jeannette was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ where she was very active; she also loved working in her yard, bowling league, line dancing with the Silver Liners and making hard tack candy.

She is survived by her two children Kim (Fred) Corder and Keith E. “Keeter” (Kelly) Kirkpatrick both of Coshocton; four grandchildren Brent (Keri) Kirkpatrick, Beth (Rich) Stevens, Bryan (Natasha) Seward and Nick Kirkpatrick; three great grandchildren Lucas Stevens, Savannah Stevens and Kaleb Seward; two special nephews James Karlovetz and William Karlovetz; several other nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Ross A. Kirkpatrick whom she married July 9, 1945; a son Jay Ross Kirkpatrick; brother Lloyd Ehrbar and sister Autumn Karlovetz.

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Wednesday May 9, 2018 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM where funeral services for Jeannette will begin at 1:00 PM with Rev. Philip Hunt officiating.  Per Jeannette’s wishes, a cremation will take place after the funeral services.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Community Hospice and/or Central Christian Church; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
