Michael “Mike” John Haines

WEST LAFAYETTE – Michael “Mike” John Haines, 39, of West Lafayette passed away May 27, 2018 at the Ohio State Ross Heart Hospital in Columbus due to complications from a massive heart attack on April 20, 2018. He was born in Columbus on Jan. 6, 1979.

Mike was married to Tiffany (Leas) Haines. They cherished 23 years together. They have two sons, Jonah (9) and Elijah (4).

He is a 1997 graduate of Coshocton High School and served in the United States Army. He was a loving, supportive, and devoted husband and enjoyed being with his family.

Along with his wife and children, Mike is survived by his mother and father-in-law Dean and Marty Leas, sister and brother-in-law Tara (Nathan) Benline and Jackie Jones; parents John and Tammy Haines; and many other relatives and friends.

Mike will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him. He was the kind of man that anyone would be proud to call their son, grandson, brother, father, husband, and friend.

Friends may call at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton, Ohio on Thursday, May 31, 2018 from 4:00pm – 7:00pm and one hour prior to the funeral service. Funeral services for Mike will be Friday at 11:00am with Pastor Gene Ferrell and Bonnie Geraridi officiating. Burial will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions can be directed towards the Jonah and Elijah Haines Memorial Fund, C/O Home Loan Saving Bank, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
