SOUTH ZANESVILLE – William Junior Norman, 89, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at his residence.

He was born March 10, 1929 in Buckhannon, WV to the late William James and Vina (Anderson) Norman. After graduating high school, he served in the US Army. He was an employee of the former GE plant in Coshocton until his retirement.

Bill enjoyed watching TV, sitting on the front porch outside, and playing with his dog, “Buddy”.

He is survived by his wife, Faye (Groves) Norman of South Zanesville, whom he married Jan. 4, 1989; two sons, Fred (Terra) Norman of Nelsonville, and Duane (Cheryl) Norman of Nolensville, TN; four grandchildren, Freddy, Rebecca, Evan, and Andrew; great-granddaughters, Madison, Scottlyn, Westlyn, & Southerlyn Norman; and two sisters, LaVaughn Hamilton and Carol Van Allen.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Lola Norman, who died Feb. 23, 1986; two brothers, Dana & Doyle Norman; and a sister, Anna Ruth Caynor.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 1, 2018 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw, with Pastor Larry Harper officiating.  Burial will follow in South Lawn Cemetery, Coshocton, with graveside military rites performed by the Coshocton Co. Joint Veterans Council Honor Guard. Visitation is one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
