Helen Louise (Lumm) Hadrosky
COSHOCTON – Helen Louise (Lumm) Hadrosky, age 95, of Coshocton, passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2018. She was born in Coshocton, on March 4, 1923, to the late Byron Elton and Ruth O. (Bingham) Lumm.
On January 24, 1942, she married Jerry Hadrosky who preceded her in death on September 9, 1985.
Helen worked at a Workman’s Restaurant, Haven of Rest Nursing Home, and Dairy Mart, before she retired. She was an avid reader, enjoyed sitting on her porch watching people go by, going out with her friends; loved country music, spending time with her family and she especially loved her cats and dogs.
She is survived by her three children, Jerry (Roxanne) Hadrosky of Coshocton, Karen (Bob) Blaho of Conesville, and Joe (Carol) Hadrosky of Coshocton; four grandchildren, Teddy Hadrosky, Karen Jirousek, Joanna (Bryan) Reeb, and Craig Hadrosky; several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; special niece, Jean Ann Moore; and several other nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents and husband, Jerry, Helen is preceded in death by one brother, two sisters, and one great-grandchild.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, July 6, 2018 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home and one hour prior to the funeral service which will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 11:00am at the funeral home with Helen’s beloved Pastor and dear friend and, Pastor Mark E. Brodbeck officiating. Burial will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens.
For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made in Helen’s name to the American Lung Cancer Association or to the donor’s choice. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
