Claude Fee
Claude Fee, 89, of Coshocton passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at his home. He was born in Yancey, KY on September 4, 1928 to the late Stanley and Lydia (Dilman) Fee.
He served in the United States Army Air Corp. After the Air Corp he worked in the coal mines in Yancey, Ky before retiring from Simco/Peabody Coal. After retiring he worked for Roscoe Village making pottery and as a blacksmith. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and American Legion. He enjoyed riding his ATV, camping, and hiking. In 2011 he was awarded the Kentucky Colonel.
Claude is survived by his wife of 69 years, Betty Lou (Smith) Fee; children Claude Dennis (Annette) Fee of Mason, Ohio, Myrna Loy (Bill) Hostetler of Bakersville, and Peggy Sue Fee of Coshocton; grandchildren Charity (Todd) Howland, Ben (Jennifer) Hostetler, and Michele (Mike) Braniger; six great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and special feline friend, Bubbles.
Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his daughter Katherine “Kathy” Fee.
Friends may call at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Sunday, July 29, 2018 from 2:00pm-4:00pm with Pastor Dail Parrish officiating. The Coshocton Masonic Lodge service will begin at 4:00pm followed by the Coshocton Veterans Council performing military honors. Memorial contributions can be directed towards Interim Hospice of Coshocton and/or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
