Lenten Luncheons to begin
COSHOCTON – The 2013 Lenten Luncheons, co-sponsored by the Coshocton County Association of Churches, the Coshocton Ministerial Fellowship, the River View Ministerial Association and the Ridgewood Ministerial Association will begin on Ash Wednesday, Feb. 13.
The luneons will be held on Wednesdays during Lent at 11:45 a.m. at The Presbyterian Church, at the corner of Chestnut and Fourth streets.
The theme this year is Building Our Founations on God. The speaker for the luncheon on Feb. 13, will be Deacon Doug Mould from Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church. Kathy Hendricks from the West Lafayette Methodist Church will be the presenter.
The food for the luncheon is prepared by people from area churches under the direction of Sue Carlisle. A $4 donation is requested which goes to cover some costs with the proceeds going to the children’s clothing program of Church Women United. The clothing program provides clothing to about 60 plus needy children throughout the county with a fall and spring outfit.
