Robert “Bob” Allan Richard
Robert “Bob” Allan Richard, age 73, of Coshocton, passed away on Monday, July 31, 2018. He was born in Coshocton on October 2, 1944 to William and Donna (Jones) Richard.
After high school, Bob enlisted in the United States Army serving from 1963 to 1965. During his time in the Army, Bob was a Paratrooper in the 101st Airborne at Fort Campbell, KY and later taught ROTC. On February 6, 1967 he married the love of his life, Jennifer “Jenny” (Bell) Richard who survives.
Bob was a cowboy at heart. He was raised on a farm, caring for the horses and cattle; he loved the outdoors and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his mother, Donna Richard of Coshocton, wife of 52 years, Jenny Richard of Coshocton, son Bobby (Rich Richards) Richard of Nashville, TN, two daughters, Liz (Rolland Richcreek) Richard-Harp of West Lafayette and Brianna (Brian Barr) Harp of Coshocton; two grandchildren, Abby Otterstedt and Spencer Richcreek, brother, William “Bill” (Cynthia) Richard of Coshocton, sister Bonnie (John) Bryant of Coshocton; and dear lifelong friends George and Shirley Warren.
Bob was preceded in death by his father, William “Bill” Richard.
A private burial will take place at a later date at Coshocton County Memory Gardens.
