RHS and RVHS girls compete in preseason tournament
PARIS, Ohio – Ridgewood and River View’s girls’ golf teams competed on Aug. 7 at the Tri County Girls Preseason Tournament at Pleasant View Golf Club.
Ridgewood’s scores were: Team – 404; individual – Sadie Wilson – 87; Lexi Zimmer – 101; Sydney Matis – 107; Hallie Reed – 109.
Twelve teams competed in the event and Ridgewood’s score gave them a sixth place finish. River View’s girls’ placed fifth with a team score of 366. Their individual scores were: Marie Stufflebean – 88; Emma Anderson – 88; Shelby Byland – 93; Madalyn Cutshall – 97. Sufflebean and Anderson earned second team all tournament medals.
