Betty Lois Courtright
COSHOCTON – Betty Lois Courtright, age 91, passed away Friday, August 10, 2018 at Altercare Coshocton. Betty was born on August 22, 1926 to the late Ray and Opal (Wilson) Thornsley. She was a 1944 Coshocton High School graduate. In 1947 she married Bernard W. Courtright who passed away in 2006. She worked as a housewife and mother to her six children. She loved flowers and gardening and playing card games. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and quilting, which she learned from her mother.
Betty is survived by her six children, Bernard W. Courtright Jr., Stanley Courtright, Andrew Courtright, Clarence Courtright, Kevin (Shirley) Courtright and Dane (Melinda) Courtright; two grandchildren, Ashley (Nicholas) Davis and Brittany (Tim) Yerkey and four step-grandchildren, Amanda (Ryan) Eckelberry, Clinton Adams, Brittany (Nathan) Hayes and Rachel Simpson, as well as two great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by, her siblings, Bonnie, Gary and Junior.
Per her wishes, a cremation will take place. Calling hours will be held on Friday, August 17, 2018 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm. A private graveside service will be held with the family.
