Presbyterians welcome Lain to pulpit

COSHOCTON – The Reverend Dr. Donald E. Lain will be the guest preacher on Sunday, Aug. 26 at The Presbyterian Church, North Fourth and Chestnut Streets, Coshocton. He will preach on THE “HAD TOs” OF JOHN 4. Worship will be in the air-conditioned chapel and will begin at 10 a.m.

Lain was born in Kansas City and is a graduate of Mount Vernon Nazarene College and Nazarene Theological Seminary. He completed his doctor of ministry degree at Asbury Theological Seminary in 2009. Prior to working with the Nazarene Foundation, he served as senior pastor of churches in upstate New York as well as the Coshocton Church of the Nazarene.

John Gano will be the liturgist. Musical leadership will be provided by organist Alice M. Hoover, and special music will be provided by Debbie Brown-Clark, Kiera McPeck and Lydia Black.

All are invited to join in this worship celebration. Preschool childcare will be provided and ample parking is available.

Summer worship will continue in the chapel at 10 a.m. through Sept. 2.
