COSHOCTON- David Lee DeMoss, 71, died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2018 at the Cohocton Regional Medical Center.

He was born July 18, 1947 in Coshocton to the late Ralph and Betty (Lee) DeMoss. He was as 1966 graduate of River View High School, and worked several years for Caterpillar. He enjoyed completing puzzles, playing Bingo and playing cards, working outdoors, and joking around and teasing his friends. He was an avid NASCAR fan, especially following Jeff Gordon in the #24 car. He loved to watch TV and eat, following baseball, including the Cleveland Indians.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Carolyn (Boddy) DeMoss of Coshocton, whom he married April 3, 1983; four daughters, Shanya DeMoss of Coshocton, Revina DeMoss of Illinois, Christina DeMoss & Tammy DeMoss of Texas; four sons, Justin DeMoss and Micah DeMoss of Coshocton, David DeMoss and Danny DeMoss of Texas; and three grandchildren,  Aleeyah DeMoss, Izayah DeMoss, Justin DeMoss Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, 2018 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw, with Pastor Ron Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Valley View Cemetery. Calling hours are on Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
