Dorothy Mae Nelson
Dorothy Mae Nelson, 90, of Coshocton joined her beloved husband Paul Allan Nelson at 5:35 P.M., Thursday, February 14, 2013, at Coshocton County Memorial Hospital.
Born August 1, 1922, she was the daughter of the late William James and Jennie (Perry) Mathews, Sr.
A dedicated homemaker, she was a “special grandma” to all her family. Dorothy had attended CalvaryBaptistChurch.
Loving family members are a son Paul E. “Budd” Nelson, two daughters Nancy Nelson, Sandy (Tony) Darr all of Coshocton; nine grandchildren; three step-grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren; a brother Robert (Minnie) Mathews of Coshocton, several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband Paul who passed away February 13, 1988, she was preceded in death by two grandchildren, one great-grandson, two brothers Frank and William Mathews and two sisters Evelyn Mencer and Helen Seward.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at Coshocton County Memory Gardens with Pastor Cal Searles officiating.
Free Funeral Home, Coshocton assisted the family with arrangements.
