Three Rivers Bridge project update

| October 4, 2018

COSHOCTON – The Three Rivers Bridge in Coshocton is currently in phase one of the construction sequence. The contractor plans to pour phase one this year. However, they ran into some unexpected structural repairs that needed to be made prior to proceeding with placing reinforcing and pouring the phase one side of this bridge. The repairs are expected to take four to six weeks to complete. Once the repairs are completed, it will take approximately another six weeks to finish forming, placing reinforcing steel and pour the deck. Following the deck pour, the sidewalks and parapet will be formed and poured and the fence will have to be placed prior to opening. While the unexpected beam repairs have delayed progress on the Three Rivers Bridge, they are hoping for good weather to hold out and get the first phase placed this year, but it appears that finishing phase one of this bridge may be the first item of work for spring of 2019.
