Lindsay Moran and Ryan Greten, both members of River View FFA, were presented with a rosette and a $25 cash award for winning the Heavy Mixed Hay (Ryan), Light Mixed Hay (Ryan) and Grass Hay (Lindsay) classes at the Coshocton County Fair. Jerry Haywood (left) was recognized as the winner of the Coshocton SWCD Big Tree Contest. The winning “Big Tree” was a maple tree which measured 219 inches in circumference with a vertical height of 91.5 inches and an average crown spread of 118 inches. The award was presented by Adrian Garber.

The 2018 Outstanding Conservation Farmer of the Year Award was presented to Derr Farm, Inc. Pictured left: Kenny Derr, Tristan Locke, Erica Olinger, Teresea Derr, Garry Derr and David Lapp, representing the Coshocton County SWCD.

Chuck Reynolds, (right) District Conservationist for USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service was presented with a mantel clock by the board and staff of SWCD. Board supervisor presented the award. Reynolds plans to retire at the end of year.
