C. Kenneth Finton

C. Kenneth Finton, age 82, of Coshocton, passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2018. He was born in Bakersville, Ohio on March 25, 1936, to the late Waldo and Cora (Hothem) Finton.

After high school, Kenny joined the United States Army, serving his country proudly and on June 26, 1960 he married Janine (Crown) Finton who passed away on March 30, 1998.

Kenny was the owner and operator of Finton Equipment Inc.,local John Deere Dealership for 45 years before retiring. Working was his passion in life. He enjoyed going to casinos, watching the Cleveland Indians, and spending time with his grandchildren and a few close friends.

He is survived by his three sons, Kevin (Janet) Finton of Dresden, Kent Finton of Grove City, and Kurt Finton of Coshocton; eight grandchildren, Sady, Cassady, Brice, Ryan, Natasha, Tyler, Michael, and Emily; eight great-grandchilden, Van, Bennett, a great-granddaughter on the way, Maddox, Lainey, Kaidence, Crosby, and Torryn; and friend Bonnie Pope.

Along with his parents and wife, Kenny is preceded in death by an infant son, Craig.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home from 3:00 pm-6:00 pm. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Kenny’s name to Community Hospice of Coshocton, 716 Commercial Ave SW, New Philadelphia, OH 44663 and Genesis Hospice of Zanesville, 713 Forest Ave, Zanesville, OH 4370.
