Two charged with illegal manufacturing of drugs in Coshocton
COSHOCTON – On Nov. 1 at approximately 2:51p.m., detectives executed a buy bust of two females in the city of Coshocton. Soon after this bust, they executed a search warrant in the 400 block of N. 2nd St., where two more females and two males were taken into custody.
While detectives searched the residence, they located a large amount of a powder substance that is suspected to be Fentanyl, a very dangerous narcotic. Due to the nature of this extremely dangerous substance, Coshocton City Fire, Hazmat and Coshocton County EMS were called to the scene. Hazmat assisted in securing this dangerous narcotic and remained at the scene until the search of the residence was complete.
Recovered in the search warrant were cash, firearms, drug manufacturing equipment and a large amount of suspected Fentanyl.
On Nov. 5, Michael G. Locklear, a 25 year old male from the Coshocton area, and Ashley A. Price, a 32 year old female from the New Philadelphia area, were both charged with illegal manufacturing of drugs, a felony of the first degree.
The other adults were released from custody. Addition charges are likely after this case has been reviewed by the Coshocton County Prosecutor’s Office.
Assisting detectives with this search warrant were the Coshocton County’s SRT and K9, Coshocton County Prosecutor’s Office, Coshocton City Fire Department, Hazmat, Coshocton County EMS, Coshocton County JFS and REACT.
This drug raid is yet another example of our continued fight on the war on drugs in our community.
